Last night I got the news that Tony "Thick44" Schnur of the Neebs Gaming crew, passed away due to the brain cancer he had been fighting for the past two years. He leaves behind a family with two teenage daughters, his friends on Neebs Gamming, so many fans and supporters. For years he gave smiles with his voice acting in Battlefield Friends, his daring and sometimes reckless gameplay, great music he wrote, and kindness in giving the team in game loot. YouTube and the world has just lost a good man, but now he is in a place where he can tell cancer "You're nothing, you're nobody!" I was nineteen, going community college in Elk Grove California. The night before all I was expecting to happen was the haircut I was going to get. June 4th 1989, over a million people most of them students had gathered for protests for seven weeks prior in Tiananmen Square China, demanding not to overthrow the Chinese Communist Party but for reform, only talking about democracy near the end. The party declared marshal law. The army forced the unarmed students to leave but as they were leaving and singing both the communist international and the Chinese national anthem the soldiers opened fired on the streets outside the square killing both protesters and innocent bystanders with some estimates saying the death toll reached ten thousand. They also ran them over with tanks! Foreign reporters were were already in China to cover the meeting between the current leaders of China and Russia and were able to capture film and video of the Massacre.
